Department of Economics offers M.A. in Economics, which is an advanced degree in economics. Economics includes a comprehensive and in-depth study of economics as a discipline at an advanced level. The Master of Arts in Economics postgraduate program basically involves studying the fundamentals of economic theory, microeconomics, macroeconomics, comparative economic systems, monetary and banking systems, international economics, methods of quantitative analysis, applications in specific sectors, public policy issues, etc. The Master of Arts in Economics lasts two years and the course is divided into four semesters.
